Hope everyone is surviving the last winter stretch. Over the last weeks we have been working on shipping all backpacks and fixing problems all over the planet. Here's an update of trackings per area:
USA: Almost all orders have arrived. We still have approximately 400 orders out of a total of 1000 stuck in customs. After receiving some inside information, we found out that one of our containers was sharing space with other cargo that had suspicious content. For that reason, all packages in that container had to be inspected which is taking a longer time than usual.
EU: All packages have been shipped, but we see that there are some people with tracking errors, and the tracking is saying "Label created" only. If that is your case, please email us at [email protected] so that we can contact UPS and if necessary, reship your order.
UK: All orders have been shipped and trackings sent to you. Due to a logistics error, backpacks in beige and red took slightly longer than usual to ship. For that reason, they have not arrived yet.
CA: All orders have been shipped since yesterday, Due to a logistics error, backpacks in beige and red took slightly longer than usual. For that reason, they have not arrived yet,
Everywhere else: Almost everything has been delivered, but many packages remain in transit.
NOTE: we are dealing with a HIGH AMOUNT OF MESSAGES AND EMAILS, which is taking us longer to reply. We are working weekends until late to get everyone their backpacks. Please be patient.

The team has been working day and night to get every backpack out the door to you. Here's an update per region:
Express orders: If you have not received your parcel yet please notify us at [email protected] :-D Some orders have had issues with local carriers and we are working on those to fix the problems.
USA Shipping: Remaining orders to Alaska, Hawaii, P.O. boxes, and military bases have been shipped. If you get notified by USPS to pay something, please get in touch with us at [email protected] . We will fix it. One of our containers got stopped by the customs authority, which is done to random containers. The process is taking a bit longer than usual as we are trying to explain them that our backpacks are not for smoking (yes, that's correct! The fact that it says hemp in the box did not help).
EU shipping: things are moving and we are shipping as fast as we can. All trackings have been delivered already but many have not yet been packed and sent yet because we have a small team. Please give us some more time to continue working on this. Also, we have some delays with accessories arriving and some orders with accessories have not been sent yet. This should be fixed in the next couple of days as stock continues arriving.
AU and NZ: Please contact us if your parcel has not arrived yet.

Notes:
- There was an error with logistics and some backpacks in beige in red took a bit longer to send. This only applies to orders from US, CA and UK. If your order was not affected, please disregard it.

While the operations team is working hard to send everything out, the marketing team is already working on a Kickstarter campaign for the world's 1st waterproof hemp boots.

Hope all is going well and the winter is not too harsh.
The wait is almost over, we are almost done with shipping. We apologize for the long absence, but there's simply a lot of work getting everything delivered. May addresses have mistakes, make countries require VAT numbers, and it just takes a lot of time to contact everyone. But we even onboarded some locals in our Portugal warehouse to help with shipping to all europe. Below you will see (left) our grandma and cofounder helping packing, (center) the label printer going on a marathon, (right) the team unloading by hand one of the containers.
So here's the situation per country/region:
Express orders: 95% of express orders have been delivered, but many remain with issues. If you have not received your parcel yet please notify us at [email protected] :-D
USA Shipping: Almost all items have been shipped, most have arrived, and others should be arriving soon. Orders to Alaska, Hawaii, P.O. boxes, and military bases will be shipped only this week as we faced some complications with the previous carrier. If you get notified by USPS to pay something, please get in touch with us at [email protected] . We will fix it.
EU shipping: We already started and we are planning to have everything shipped before the end of the week. Kudus to our friend Mateus Pinto from customs that manage to speed up clearance. Thanks to him, we are now ahead of schedule. ETA is early feb
AU and NZ: Everything was shipped and it should be on a boat arriving the post, or arriving at your house.
UK: The second container is on the way. Due to Covid and shortages on staff we could not pack everything before Chinese new year. Also, the freight carrier is a bit slower than expected. We have great news, so far 850 backpacks have been delivered out of 4000 requested. Unfortunately, the problem is that it is taking us 3 times longer than expected because 70% of the Chinese warehouse staff is home with COVID. Many transportation and logistic networks remain affected meaning that shipping progress is going really slow.
Here's an update on things:
- Express orders - all express orders worldwide have been shipped. If yours was not, please contact us so that we can fix the situation.
- USA standard - all orders are loaded in a container and on the way to the US. ETA is late Jan to early feb.
- UK standard -all orders are loaded in a container and on the way to the UK, ETA is early feb.
- CA standard - all orders are loaded in a container and on the way to CA. ETA is late Jan to early feb.
- EU standard - all orders reloaded in a container and on the way to be shipped from Portugal. ETA is early feb.
- Rest of the world standard - Shipping in progress. ETA is due in the next 3 weeks, depending on where you are.
